چکیده
Abstract Background Cervical cancer (CC) is one of the most common gynaecological malignancies all around world. The mechanisms cervical carcinoma formation remain under close scrutiny. long non-coding RNAs (lncRNA) and microRNAs (miRNAs) play important roles in controlling gene expression promoting development progression by acting as competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA). However, lncRNA associated with ceRNAs carcinogenesis remains unknown. In this study, HOTAIR was investigated HPV16 positive cells, candidate miRNAs target genes were identified to clarify putative HOTAIR/miRNA cells. Methods proliferation ability cells measured CCK8 EdU incorporation assays cell apoptosis analyzed flow cytometry. HOTAIR, miR-214-3p, E7 mRNA detected qRT-PCR. LncRNA Miat Promotes Proliferation of Cervical Cancer Cells and Acts as an Anti-apoptotic Factor
There are a sub-population of cells in tumor tissues known as cancer stem cells (CSCs) which have similar features with stem cells, including self-renewal and differentiation capacity. Recently, it was established that not only stem cells factors such as Oct4, but also ES-associated lncRNAs are contributing to various regulatory aspects of CSCs. Myocardial infarction associated transcript (MIAT...

Background: MiR-103a-3p is a small non-coding RNA and has been reported to be involved in osteogenic proliferation and differentiation, but the role of miR-103a-3p in human osteoarthritis (OA) remains unclear. Objectives: In this study, we aimed to explore its function and molecular target in chondrocytes during OA pathogenesis. Materials an...
متن کاملLncRNA HOTAIR controls the expression of Rab22a by sponging miR-373 in ovarian cancer
Increasing evidence suggests that the long non-coding RNA, HOX transcript antisense intergenic RNA (HOTAIR) is widely involved in the progression and metastasis of cancer. However, the specific role of HOTAIR in ovarian carcinogenesis remains to be fully elucidated. In the present study, the levels of HOTAIR were detected in 30 paired cancer and noncancer tissues using reverse transcription-qua...
متن کاملLncRNA MALAT1 Inhibits Apoptosis and Promotes Invasion by Antagonizing miR-125b in Bladder Cancer Cells
Accumulating evidences suggest that longnon-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play functional roles in development of different cancers, including cancer initiation and progression. Metastasis associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1(MALAT1) is a well-known lncRNA which was previously shown to be a direct target of miR-125b in bladder cancer (BCa) and to promote cancer progression and invasion. However,...
متن کاملElevation of miR-27b by HPV16 E7 inhibits PPARγ expression and promotes proliferation and invasion in cervical carcinoma cells.
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have been reported to be involved in multiple biological pathways that can influence tumor progression and metastasis. High-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPVs) is aetiologically correlated to cervical cancer. Recently, miRNAs were reported to be regulated by virus and play pivotal roles in HPV-related tumor progression. However, the underlying mechanism remains poorly underst...
